Here's a timeline of Clara Nunes' life:
- 1942 - Born in Paraopeba, Minas Gerais
- 1960 - she won the Minas Gerais stage of The Golden Voice of ABC, singing Serenata do Adeus (Composed by Vinicius de Moraes)
- 1963 - she got her on TV Show on Belo Horizonte's Itacolomi channel, titled Clara Nunes Presents
- 1966 - her first album, A voz adorável de Clara Nunes, was released
- 1968 - her version of Você passa eu acho graça, a samba composed by Ataulfo Alves, was released. This song changed her life and her carreer
- 1975 - Claridade was released. The LP was the first album that sold more than 300.000 copies
- 1982 - release of her last album, Nação.
- 1983 - dies at the age of 40.
